Innovative and durable synthetic engine lubricant specially designed for Hybrid Electric Vehicles (H.E.V) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (P.H.E.V) equipped with modern gasoline engines, whether turbocharged or naturally aspirated, featuring direct or indirect injection systems. This lubricant is formulated for use with SAE 0W-30 oil, providing low friction and a low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity of ≥ 2.9 mPa.s.

MOTUL NGEN Hybrid 0W-30 is specifically formulated to meet the technical challenges faced by gasoline hybrid vehicles, including fuel dilution, water emulsification, frequent stop/start events, and lower oil temperature conditions. This advanced formulation is part of Motul's commitment to sustainability, containing 25% premium regenerated base oils and packaged in a can made from 50% recycled materials that is 100% recyclable, thus reducing the environmental impact during the manufacturing process.

MOTUL NGEN is the common designation for Motul’s sustainable product range, which utilises various technologies in formulation and packaging to minimise its carbon footprint and support the circular economy. This dedicated formula is also suitable for gasoline engines requiring an SAE 0W-30 viscosity grade lubricant or a 'Fuel Economy' lubricant in viscosity grade 30, compliant with API SP-RC, API SP, and/or ILSAC GF-6A standards.

Additionally, MOTUL NGEN Hybrid 0W-30 is compatible with Battery Electric Vehicles (B.E.V) equipped with thermal gasoline engines used as range extenders. It is also compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters.
