Innovative and durable synthetic engine lubricant specially designed for Hybrid Electric Vehicles (H.E.V) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (P.H.E.V) equipped with modern gasoline engines, whether turbocharged or naturally aspirated, and featuring direct or indirect injection systems. This lubricant is formulated to meet the requirements for SAE 0W-12 oil, offering low friction and a low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity of ≥ 2.0 mPa.s.

MOTUL NGEN Hybrid 0W-12 is specifically engineered to address the technical challenges posed by gasoline hybrid vehicles, such as fuel dilution, water emulsification, high frequency of stop/start events, and lower oil temperature conditions. This state-of-the-art formulation is part of Motul's sustainable initiative, containing 25% premium regenerated base oils and packaged in a can made from 50% recycled materials that is 100% recyclable, thereby reducing the carbon footprint during the manufacturing process.

MOTUL NGEN refers to Motul’s sustainable range, employing various technologies in both formulation and packaging to minimise environmental impact and promote a circular economy. This dedicated formula can also be used in gasoline engines requiring an SAE 0W-12 viscosity grade lubricant or a 'Fuel Economy' lubricant in viscosity grade 12.

Additionally, MOTUL NGEN Hybrid 0W-12 is suitable for battery electric vehicles (B.E.V) that are equipped with a thermal gasoline engine used as a range extender. It is also compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters.
