Return Policy
All products come with our standard 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some of our premium products do carry up to 3 years warranty, please check with our warranty department for clarification. We would like to resolve your return as quickly as possible. If you follow the return procedures below, it will enable us to process and action your claim more efficiently.
How to return items
Place the item back into its original box or packaging. If you no longer have this, please use an alternative and label/mark the box with the item's product code.
Please raise a return on our website here, detailing the items for return, colour, size and reason for return, submitting any images. Once received our Returns Department will authorise this online return for you.
For us to comply with our Health & Safety policy, can you please ensure that if the garment is being returned for a repair it is clean and free from dirt. We could refuse to work on a garment or charge a cleaning fee if it has not been adequately cleaned.
Goods must be accompanied with a copy of the proof of purchase, this can be a receipt, bank statement, gift receipt etc. Please Note: Without the appropriate proof of purchase we will not be able to offer an exchange or refund.
After we receive your return
If the fault is a result of a manufacturing defect Moto Direct may offer to carry out the necessary repairs, replace or offer a credit note. If the item is not faulty or is not covered under warranty our returns department will contact you, to advise accordingly.
We aim to process your return one week from receipt, however delays may occur during our busy race season.
We will always work with you on warranty claims, however if you decide to refund or replace the item without authorisation we cannot guarantee that a credit note will be issued and this may result in the item being returned. Moto Direct Ltd – Parts & Accessories Returns Policy
This Returns Policy applies exclusively to parts and accessories purchased by authorised trade customers. This policy does not apply to any other products distributed by Moto Direct Ltd.Return Requests
All return requests must be submitted and processed through the B2B portal. Returns sent without an approved return authorisation may be refused.
The original invoice number and reason for return must be provided when submitting a return request.Special Order Items
Products identified as "Special Order" at the time of purchase are non-returnable and non-refundable unless supplied incorrectly or found to be defective.Stock Order Returns
Stock order items may be returned subject to the following conditions:- Returns requested within 14 days of invoice date will be accepted without a restocking charge.
- Returns requested between 15 and 60 days from the invoice date will be accepted subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Returns requested after 60 days require prior written authorisation from your Account Manager before a return request can be submitted.
- Returns submitted after 60 days without prior approval may be declined.
Condition of Returned Goods
All returned items must:- Be unused and uninstalled.
- Be complete and in a saleable condition.
- Be returned in their original packaging with all labels, instructions, and accessories intact.
Incorrectly Supplied or Defective Goods
Any shortages, incorrect deliveries, damaged goods, or suspected defects must be reported as soon as reasonably possible upon receipt.Where a return is approved due to an error by Moto Direct Ltd or a confirmed manufacturing defect, no restocking fee will apply.
Return Shipping
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of goods. Returned goods remain the customer's responsibility until received and inspected by Moto Direct Ltd.Any items which are considered dangerous goods such as Batteries, Aerosols. These must be preauthorised before being returned.
Inspection and Credit
All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt. Once approved, a credit note will be issued to the customer's account. Moto Direct Ltd reserves the right to deduct any applicable restocking, repackaging, or handling charges before issuing credit.Policy Amendments
